The 2008 Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Folatières felt a little simplistic on the nose compared to others, just missing a little presence, a touch ephemeral compared to its peers. The palate is better with crisp acidity on the entry; harmonious with just a touch of spice and salinité . That said, I would have liked more mineralité in the finish. Tasted at Sarah Marsh's 2008 White Burgundy tasting.
