Leesy, smoky, spicy nose lifted by high-toned lemon zest. Then juicy in the mouth, with spiced lemon and mineral flavors lifted by somewhat elevated acidity. Distinctly minerally today and in need of a year or two of bottle aging.

Slightly dull aromas of peach and acacia flower. Then sweet and nicely balanced in the mouth; suaver and less heavy than the Perrieres. A bit of underlying minerality gives this a firmer shape than the Perrieres. But youthfully closed today.
