This is one of the best 2010s that I have tasted from Thierry Pillot’s domaine. It has a very expressive bouquet with dewy green apples and cold stone, a hint of nettle emerging with time. The palate is fresh and vibrant with a silvery thread of citric acidity and a harmonious, precise finish that is both pretty and shows good breeding. This is an excellent Chassagne worth seeking out. Tasted March 2013.

Quite rich, even opulent for a 2010, on the nose. Very racy, dense, muscular. Attention grabbing. Not the purest but quite dramatic and persistent. (JR)
