Tasting notes
The brilliant Bernard Magrez has also turned out a beautiful second wine, the 2005 Clementin de Pape Clement, which is a blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon and 40% Merlot. Soft, round, juicy and succulent, it displays a dense plum/ruby/purple color and smoky, earthy, chocolaty notes as well as plum, Asian spice, black cherry and blackcurrant fruit. This is a beauty for a second wine and best drunk over the next decade.
