55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc. Dark crimson. Very seductive ripe purple fruit aromas. Very sweet start – all stops are pulled out here! Very modern and, for the Médoc, flashy. A dramatic wine that should appeal enormously to a certain subset of Bordeaux fans. I expect it to be GV. (JR)

Very dark purple. Very fragrantly floral. A little muted on the palate but could certainly give pleasure in a low-key way. Nicely appetising in dry minerals style rather than over-the-top sweetness. Though a bit painful on the finish. (JR)

Gorgeous black currant on the nose, with tar and lead pencil. Pauillac-like. Full-bodied, with well-integrated tannins and a long finish. Serious
