Score 91/100 · Drink 1992-2007, Robert Parker, Dec 1992

Juillot's two largest-scaled, most concentrated wines are usually produced from his holdings in the Cote de Beaune. The 1990 Corton-Perrieres displays an explosively rich nose of toasty new oak and roasted black fruits such as plums and prunes. Sweet, expansive, chewy, and well-endowed, this full-bodied, structured wine is deep and dense. Approachable because of the softness of the tannins, it has at least 12-15 years of aging potential. Importer: Louis/Dressner Selections, New York, NY.
