So much more concentrated and exciting than the regular 1967! Wild and deep flavoured. Deep colour. (JR)

Good medium red. Aromas of cherry, raspberry, spices, brown sugar and flowers show a slightly wild quality. Supple and sweet in the mouth, offering a lush texture to its flavors of smoky spiced meats but not quite the aromatic complexity of expansiveness of the 1970. The thick finish shows a lightly saline quality and utterly suave tannins. This offers great appeal already but has the balance to go on for a couple more decades.
