Score 92/100 · Stephen Tanzer, Vinous, Sep 2013
Bright, pale, green-tinged yellow. Explosive aromas of white peach, lemon zest and acacia flower. A step up in intensity and sappiness from the foregoing samples, with sound acidity framing and energizing the brisk lemon and mineral flavors. Finishes very vibrant and long, with a firm edge that calls for at least a few years of cellaring. Fichet notes that the white soil at the top of this steep slope is like concrete under drought conditions. This is 13.3% alcohol with 4.11 grams of acidity.

Lightly floral nose. Excellent precision and juiciness. Perhaps not quite as sublime as Roulot's but very good. Confident and breezy. (JR)
