Score 92+/100 · Stephen Tanzer, Vinous, Sep 2004

Pungent aromas of lemon, vanilla, hazelnut and stone. Penetrating, precise and tightly wound, with outstanding density for village wine. The slow-mounting finish shows terrific hang time. Much less open now than the Gruyaches but offers considerable aging potential.

Rich and full and reverberating. Dry finish. This should be worth hanging on to. (JR)
