Good medium ruby. Black fruits, licorice and a whiff of menthol on the nose and palate. Sweet and supple in the mouth, with rather soft, dusty tannins and good length. (A second sample seemed distinctly drier on the back end.)

Very deep crimson, right out to the rim. Good freshness on the nose. Very subtle and well balanced. Dry finish but opulent and sufficiently ripe on the mid palate. Quite a brisk style but successful, even if there’s a slightly metallic note on the finish?? (JR)
