Tasting notes
When first opened, the nose is quite floral with a curious geranium component but with air, the aromas evolve toward spice and dried rose petal notes followed by medium weight, rich, nicely sappy flavors of good if not great elegance and length. Really very pretty and very fine in the context of the vintage. Allen Meadows, Burghound Oct01,2003

Smooth and supple in texture, medium to light in body. This delivers lovely cherry and strawberry aromas and a hint of earthiness in the spice and mocha flavors. Finishes light with fine tannins. Drinkable now. Wine Spectator May 15, 1995
PRODUCTION: 1,899 cases. The 1992 La Tache is a beefy, muscular wine without sufficient fruit to cover its framework. While it may develop a pleasing aromatic profile, it will remain a bony, charmless wine. Aug 1995, www.robertparker.com
