Score 89/100 · Drink 1992-1997, Robert Parker, Oct 1992
The Echezeaux-Vieilles Vignes offers a light ruby color and a sweet, fragrant nose of berry fruit and toasty, smoky, new oak. In the mouth, there is admirable sweetness and alcohol, excellent ripeness, and a lovely long, luscious finish. Once past the glycerin, alcohol, and new oak there is not much structure, so good sense suggests drinking it over the next 4-5 years; it is a seductive red burgundy. Importer: Vineyard Brands, Chester, VT.
