Deep red, less dark than the Petite Chapelle. Discreet aromas of cherry, redcurrant, mocha and meat. Ripe and deep, with reserved flavors of red fruits, minerals and spices. A more reticent wine from cooler, clay-based soil. Finishes pure and long, with lovely sweetness and ripe, fine tannins. But this one will require a bit more work on the part of the taster than the flamboyant Petite Chapelle.

Good full medium red. Wild red fruits and crushed stone on the slightly reduced nose. Sweet, juicy and fine-grained but also a bit reserved today. The silky texture reminded me of Chambolle. This has lovely stuffing to support the new oak. Finishes with good definition and length.
