Good saturated red-ruby color. Superripe aromas of black raspberry and chocolate. Very rich, fat and sweet; a large-scaled wine given shape and verve by floral and mineral components. Should improve with a few more years in the bottle, but this solid wine already shows lovely sweetness and texture. Finishes with a note of chocolatey oak.

Saturated ruby. Perfumed nose combines blackberry, minerals, espresso, bitter chocolate and spices. Round, sweet, dense and stuffed with lovely pinot fruit. This has compelling material. The fruit reverberates on the back, currently covering the wine's substantial tannins. Very strong and promising.
