Bright medium red. Plum, rust and brown spices on the nose. Round, supple and vinous, with ripe redcurrant fruit showing good sweetness and plenty of early appeal. Finishes with a hint of oaky bitterness but the tannins are nicely enrobed by fruit.

The 2010 Morey-Saint-Denis has plenty of energy and vibrancy. Brilliant, nicely delineated tannins frame dark fruit, freshly cut flowers and subtle hints of spices. This is a very pretty villages.
The 2010 Morey St. Denis has plenty of energy and vibrancy. Brilliant, nicely delineated tannins frame dark fruit, freshly cut flowers and subtle hints of spices. This is a very pretty villages. Anticipated maturity: 2012-2016. This is a terrific set of wines from Regis Forey. Quality is strong throughout the range, but Forey has really done a stellar job with his top 1er Crus and Grand Crus, where the wines truly sing. This is one domaine where the quality difference between 2009 and 2010 is quite striking. My strong preference is for the 2010s. Medium red. Aromas of strawberry, flowers and dusty spices. Musky, saline and soil-inflected, with dominant flavors of brown spices, earth and smoke. A round style with nothing aggressive about it. A bit oaky, which is why Forey has already moved the wine into tank.
