Drink 1960-2000? 10-26 Sep 33 hl/ha. Dry summer and high temperature. Wood vats with a little problem of temperature control. Lots of VA and not the best 1945 in Bordeaux (Mouton is). Our bottle was a bit corked and the other one was pretty volatile. Not fresh and clean – especially next to the 1947 and 1948. They didn’t clean up the must enough in this hot vintage, according to Lurton. Dried fig syrup. Very long but not quite pure. (JR)
