Score 90-92/100 · Stephen Tanzer, Vinous, Mar 2005
Ruby-red. Captivating, superripe aromas of black raspberry, minerals and roasted oak. Sweet, suave and penetrating, with notes of minerals and graphite. Less dense and gripping than the Gevrey grand crus that preceded it, but this very stylish, juicy 2003 shows attractive minerality and noteworthy finesse.
