Tasting notes
The 2008 Echezeaux is a feminine, graceful Burgundy. Supple and perfumed throughout, the Echezeaux shows tons of class and balance. The finish turns a touch fleeting, with delicate, saline notes that persist on the close. Anticipated maturity: 2018-2028. Importer: Atherton Imports, Menlo Park, CA; tel. (650) 328-6639

Medium dullish red. Indistinct red fruits and spices on the nose. Supple and spicy, with modest lift to the black raspberry, spice and mineral flavors. Offers decent sweetness but finishes with edgy acidity and slightly drying tannins. Not bad, but not especially primary either.
