The 2007 Corton-Renardes Grand Cru is a giving wine that offers up attractive aromas of sweet red berries, licorice, dried citrus rind and grilled game bird. On the palate, it's supple, succulent and open-knit, with juicy acids and melting tannins, concluding with a stony finish. It's a lighter styled vintage that makes for elegant and expressive drinking today.

About the producer

Domaine Michel Gaunoux is today run by Michel’s grandchildren, Anne and Alexandre, with a guiding hand from their mother. Everything here is extremely traditional, and the family has been quietly making rich, complex and age-worthy Pommard and Corton for over half a century.
