Good bright yellow. Stone fruits, brown spices and oak on the nose. Quite dry and youthfully imploded, with a hint of rhubarb giving the finish a slightly sour quality. I wanted more richness and depth. Did I catch this at an awkward stage?
About the producer

Maison Roche de Bellene
Nicolas Potel is one of Burgundy’s most talented and connected winemakers. He created Maison Roche de Bellene, the négoce arm of Domaine de Bellene, in 2008, using his extensive network in the region to source top-quality fruit for an "haute couture" négociant operation.
