Tasting notes
The 1999 is charming. It exhibits strawberry, cherry, and black currant fruit, a touch of minerals, earth, and underbrush. Although round and pleasant, it lacks depth. Drink it over the next 6-7 years.

A red with grapey, coffee and mineral aromas. Medium- to full-bodied, with velvety tannins and a medium finish. Slightly hollow center-palate. Best after 2003. 14,580 cases made. James Suckling, Wine Spectator 2002
