Tasting notes

Tasting notes
Score 70/100 · Robert Parker

The color is dark ruby, yet one is hard pressed to find any fruit behind a wall of abrasive tannins. Very severe and bitter on the palate, with an excess of tannins, this will require a lengthy stay in the cellar just to soften. However, my guess is that the fruit will never be adequate enough to balance out the harsh qualities of this wine. Anticipated maturity: Now-1998. Last tasted, 4/84 Jan 1998, www.robertparker.com
