Score 89/100 · Drink 2002-2014, Robert Parker, Apr 2002
This is an up-front, lush, exotic Pomerol with black raspberry liqueur and cassis notes presented in a sweet, soft, hedonistic style. The 1999 Le Moulin does not possess the concentration of the 1998 or 2000, but what's there is savory and undeniably interesting and delicious. Drink it over the next 12 or so years.

Ruby-red. Aromas of currant, plum, cedar and five-spice powder. Fresh, spicy and nicely delineated; offers moderate fat but good intensity and cut. Finishes with substantial, slightly dry tannins.
