Very floral – rose petal. Not quite as impressively tight as the first wine in this flight. Lacks a little bit of concentration but it builds in the mouth. Notably lower in acidity than most other wines in this range. Quite alcoholic. Persistent. (JR)

Aromas of spiced apple, honey and woodsmoke, obviously touched by botrytis. On the palate, quite creamy but with cut and spiciness. Nor has botrytis robbed this wine of juice or sap, which are abundant in the rich, creamy, smoky finish. 1 star.
