Initially reticent nose opened quickly to reveal notes of citrus skin, lanolin and coconut. Fatter, richer, more glyceral than its stablemate, Laville Haut Brion, with terrific sweetness and very good density. The citric notes repeat on the finish, keeping the wine bright and firm. Outstanding potential.
