Bright ruby-red. Sexy aromas of black raspberry, minerals, flowers and mint. Very ripe, chocolatey and a bit high-toned but with a juicy quality. Showing its oak and alcohol more than the crus here.

Very deep crimson. Rich and spicy nose though very dry (as opposed to sweet) on the palate. Firm and perhaps the dryness compensates for really low acidity. Quite a strict Chambolle! Long and with lots of substance. (JR)
