Score 93/100 · Drink 2010-2014, Jeb Dunnuck, Aug 2010
One of the top Rosés in the world, the 2009 Domaine Tempier Bandol Rosé sports a light salmon/pink color as well as captivating aromatics of wet strawberries, rose petal, river rock, and a touch of peach. Intense and delicate at the same time, there’s wonderful freshness and clarity to the aromas. On the palate, the wine is medium bodied with loads of fresh fruit, a deft, precise texture, vibrant acidity and a clean finish. Simply gorgeous and while I like them right on release, these do age beautifully as well.
