The 1973 Pauillac de Latour is a very old example of the Third Wine of Château Latour, served blind. I find it green and underripe on the nose, and the palate is marked by hard tannins and a hole where the fruit should be. It is interesting to taste, but one sip will suffice. Past its best. Tasted blind over lunch in London.
