Dark red. Aromas of blackberry, violet, espresso and clove. Suave and seductive in the mouth, with nicely concentrated, pliant flavors of blackberry and violet sweetened by oak. Offers very good volume for a village wine, and a subtle, persistent finish.

Black fruits can be found in the aromas of the 2001 Gevrey-Chambertin. A rustic, firm medium-bodied wine, it reveals excellent density of fruit, a rich, medium body, and roasted dark fruit flavors. Deep red-ruby. Pure aromas of black raspberry and game. Sweet, lush and chocolatey, with good density for a village wine. Finishes firmly tannic and sweet. Very good for this cuvee
