Tasting notes
Dark ruby. This wine manages to be both ripe AND fresh. Bravo! Neat and contained and presenting a lot of well-balanced pleasure within the limits of 2007 ie not flashy or exuberant. Appetising and savoury. (JR)

Damp-fur register of ripeness on the nose! Sweet and a little tired on the palate. Not much refreshment but nicely judged tannins and sufficient acidity. Good for the short term. (JR)
Combination of toasty oak and cassis leaf but sweeter and richer on the palate. Pretty soft. (JH)
Bright ruby-red. Blackberry, cassis, dark chocolate and licorice on the nose. Broad, fruity and sweet, with a rather soft, open-knit texture. Could use a bit more energy, but finishes with ripe tannins and very good breadth.
