Earthy, complex and still very heavy on the nose and palate – perhaps only just now entering its drinkable phase. Lovely stately grandeur to the build here, and loads of dense flavour. Great length too. (RH)

Saturated ruby. Lively, spice-accented aromas of cassis, licorice, violet and tobacco. Dense, juicy and intensely flavored, with energetic red and blackberry qualities and licorice and floral pastille nuances. Firm tannins add shape to the gently sweet finish.
