Tasting notes
Lisini's 2008 Rosso di Montalcino is an impeccable, classy wine. Sweet, perfumed red cherries, licorice and tobacco emerge as the wine sits in the glass. The tannins are a touch firm, making this is one the handful of 2008 Rossos that might actually benefit from another few months. The flavors, acidity and structure are pure Sangiovese. Simply put, this is a joy to taste and is highly recommended.
