Tasting notes
Medium red. Ripe, perfumed nose dominated by raspberry and spicy oak. Lush and sweet in the mouth, with an almost candied quality to the fruit following the 2008s here but plenty of mid-palate lift. More penetrating acids kick in on the back end, giving the finish a juicy but very firm quality. This needs a few years to unwind.

Full medium red. Subdued but sexy aromas of cherry and flowers, showing more lift than the foregoing samples. A step up in fruit intensity, with youthful, perfumed, subtly concentrated flavors of raspberry, minerals and flowers. Seems riper than the Suchots or Beaux Monts. Finishes with a firm spine, some spicy oak tannins and very good length. From 60-year-old vines, and it shows.
