2006 d'Escurac (Haut Medoc)

A consistently well-made cru bourgeois Medoc, d’Escurac’s 2006, while not as good as their 2005, offers up scents of roasted herbs, soil undertones, red and black currants, spice, and unsmoked cigar tobacco. This round, lush, medium-bodied effort should be consumed over the next 4-5 years. Good value.
