The 2008 Chateau Beauregard is rock solid and offers a medium to full-bodied, charming, and impressively textured profile as well as ample darker fruits, chocolate, and leafy herbs. It’s drinking nicely today and has loads of charm.

Blackish crimson. Very firm, aromatic Cabernet on the nose. Sweet and rich and juicy. Vibrant wine. A bit hard on the end. (JR)

This dark plum/ruby-hued, tannic, rustic effort reveals some astringency, but it has plenty of concentration, purity, texture and length. For a 2008, this medium-bodied wine is surprisingly unevolved and will benefit from several years of bottle age. Anticipated maturity: 2014-2025.
