Tasting notes
Pretty rich and seductive on the nose. Gunpowder smells. Very dramatic. Chewy end. Jagged. Very long-term bet. Green. (JR)

Good full red. Cherry, raspberry, smoky oak and pungent minerality on the nose, lifted by a whiff of violet. A step up in depth and breadth from the village wines, offering sappy red fruit and piquant mineral flavors and lovely structure and grip. Perhaps just a tad dry on the back end, or is this wine simply a bit higher in acidity? These vines were planted in 1997.
