Tasting notes
This estate’s second wine, the 2011 La Gravette de Certan reveals attractive spicy, cherry fruit, light to medium body, good roundness and softness, and a character not unlike its bigger sibling, just not as concentrated or dense. Drink it over the next decade.

About the producer

The original Château at Vieux Château Certan dates back to around 1770 but the modern history of the estate begins in 1924 - the year that Belgian wine merchant Georges Thienpont purchased the property.
