Tasting notes
Tasted at a négociant. This has a silky nose of black cherries and black plum with a touch of creme de menthe. The palate has fine definition, very well balanced with grainy, off-dry tannins towards the finish. This is a very accomplished Bordeaux Superieur that should represent outstanding value. Tasted March 2010.

A sleeper of the vintage for sure, this dense, ripe, dark ruby/purple-colored wine, made from a whopping 39% Petit Verdot, 34% Merlot and 27% Cabernet Sauvignon, exhibits some tobacco leaf, black currants, licorice, roasted coffee and forest floor. It is ripe, medium to full-bodied in texture, pure, impressively endowed, and should drink deliciously for at least another 2-4 years, possibly longer. Feb 2012, www.robertparker.com
