Medium red. Pure aromas of red fruits, minerals and smoke. Sweet and sharply delineated, with a silky texture and good sappy brightness. The harmonious finish features very good clarity and grip and subtle persistence. Much easier to appreciate today than the Chapelle: very classy wine.

Medium red. Red cherry, smoke, mocha and game on the nose; a bit less expressive today than the Chapelle. Fatter and chewier but a bit less giving today than the Chapelle, with less early sex appeal. Deeply pitched wine, finishing with substantial ripe tannins.
