Plenty of charred oak and backcurrant up front, but the finish is slightly dilute, leaving a hollow impression. (RH)

Intense nose. Thick and sweet. A bit too extracted. But a lot of effort has gone into this! (JR)

Tight, aromatic wine. Slim and aristocratic. Refined structure with very fine, only slightly angular tannins. Definite Margaux. Reminds me a little of Ch Margaux itself. Slim-line. Not for modernists but should always show great balance and refinement. (JR)
