Score 86/100 · Drink 2006-2014, Robert Parker, Apr 2006

The soft, supple, medium-bodied 2003 exhibits a plum/ruby/garnet color, elegant fruit, herb, and spice characteristics, but little depth and persistence. It should be consumed over the next 5-8 years.

Dark crimson. Mild savoury notes. Slightly intriguing. Very light and relatively tart and gassy. Simple. Lots of acidity. (JR)

Reddish crimson. Low-key but distinctively nutty nose. Rather callow crimson. Very ripe and sweet and then green tannins but a little hole in the middle. Sweetness on the front palate just too pronounced for refreshment value. Very dry finish, rather reminiscent of some Pomerols. (JR)
