Musky aromas of lemon, clove and cinnamon. Firm-edged, juicy and refreshing, with brisk flavors of citrus pith, melon and oak spice. Finishes with very good length and grip. Lively, dry and rather delicate.

(49% sauvignon blanc, 48% semillon and 3% muscadelle) Slightly muted aromas of lemon, lime and mint. Supple and ripe, with notes of grapefruit and honey. Rather backward and in a drier style and thus difficult to taste today. But bright, ripe and intriguing, and not especially oaky yet.

Among the oldest estates in Bordeaux, Ch. Pape Clément has been guided into the modern era by Bernard Magrez, who has managed the estate since 1985. It makes some of the best reds in the region.
