Tasting notes
While the 1995 is less successful than Pape-Clement's 1994, the wine avoids the diluted, high acid character found in many 1995 white Graves. The citrusy, fig, and smoky-scented nose is followed by a medium-bodied, well-concentrated wine with excellent purity and elegance. It possesses good acidity, a moderately long finish, and some aging potential. Anticipated maturity: 2000-2008. Last tasted 11/97

Lemon-lime, herbs and spicy oak on the nose. Fresh but a bit strident, with modest fat and back-end ripeness. Will further batonnage enrich this wine?
