Score 90/100 · Drink 2018-2038, Robert Parker, Jun 2015

From a property of Bernard de Coster, and today made under the consulting assistance of Hubert de Boüard, the 2005 La Commanderie is outstanding, with notes of new saddle leather, some background barrique, rich cassis fruit, black cherries, full body, and a long, textured, impressively pure, rich finish. It still has several years of cellaring ahead of it, but it should last 15-20 years.
