The long and short of it: the 1992 Meursault Village is just ridiculously, laughably brilliant. It has a stunning nose that rivets you to the spot: very mineral-driven, full of tension and vitality with flint and oyster shell, even a faint garrigues tincture. The palate is brilliantly balanced with pitch-perfect acidity, very intense, with a poised and harmonious finish that seems to flow with effortless ease. This is an utterly glorious Meursault Village at the peak of its powers.
