Score 86/100 · Drink 2012-2018, Neal Martin, Wine Advocate, Jun 2007

Harvested between 8th and 14th October and containing 90% Mouvedre, the 2005 has a lifted nose of sweet black cherries on the nose accompanied by burnt match, blackberry leaf and black olives. The palate has better fruit concentration the I expected. Firm tannins, quite austere and conservative but would show much better with food. Raw and unrefined at the moment but has potential. Anticipated maturity: 2012-2018
