Score 87/100 · Drink 2004-2008, Robert Parker, Jun 2004

The 2001 Bois Pertuis (a blend of 75% Merlot and the rest Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc) is an excellent generic Bordeaux possessing a dark ruby/purple color as well as a big, sweet nose of smoky black fruits intertwined with a hint of crushed stone. This medium-bodied, delicious effort is best consumed over the next 3-4 years.
