Score 80-83/100 · Drink 2012-2020, Robert Parker, Apr 2012

This fabulous chateau high on a hill with what looks to be a spectacular terroir is owned by the family of the late Baron Bich (think of the Bic pen empire). I remember loving the 1982, but they have not done much since. The medium-bodied 2011 exhibits raspberry and black cherry fruit intermixed with herbs, earth and spice. Although it tails off in the mouth, it will offer pleasant sipping over the next 7-8 years.
