Tasting notes
Exuberant yet serious in character with a basket of red fruits and flavors that are coated in sappy extract and displaying excellent intensity. There is a certain floral character and the finish has a tangy strawberry note to it. A very fine villages.

The ruby-colored 1999 Chambolle-Musigny has gorgeous raspberry and cherry coulis aromas. Light to medium-bodied and soft, it displays cherry and metallic flavors in its well-made, elegant character. Drink it over the next 5 years. Importer: Dreyfus Ashby, New York, NY; tel. (212) 818-0770.
Bright ruby-red. Pungently spicy aromas of black raspberry, black cherry and flowers. Pretty, precise flavors of red berries, flowers and spices. Vibrant and firmly built, with solid spine and impressive length.
