Pale, bright yellow. Nose dominated by wet stone; less fruity than usual for this cuvee at this stage. Then juicy and quite firm, with good purity to the flavors of pear, yellow peach, honey, menthol and stone. This will need at least a couple of years to integrate its rather brisk acidity.

Medium yellow. Aromas of mirabelle and minerals. A step up in sweetness from the Champs-Gain but with sound acidity giving the wine a firm quality. Concentrated and tactile premier cru, with peach and mint flavors. Finishes with good length considering the fact that these vines are just eight or nine years old.
